My Vision for the Future

Early one Sunday morning I will arrive at Phoenix airport with my fellow Jamaican Christian Women Ministry from my church with luggage filled with bibles, toiletries, and lots of other goodies, ready to board the airplane to Kingston. This is the yearly trip to go minister to villages and towns around the resort where we stay in Kingston. I am so grateful and thank God each day that He allows me to do this mission work to touch the lives of others by sharing His word and fellowship with others.

I wake up as the sun rises on a beautiful morning in Jamaica, thanking God for another day, asking Him to guide me and to direct this day for me as He wants it to be by enabling me minister, touch and change someone’s life this day. I study the word before heading out to begin the day. I’m enjoying the beautiful white sand and crystal blue water with my wonderful and loving Christian women, drinking a delicious tropical drink.

Five years earlier when I got laid off from the corporate world, I said to myself this is a blessing from God, to allow me to start a new chapter in my life to go into business full time, something that I have a passion to do, but never had the opportunity. I knew going into the real estate business was not going to be easy, was risky and there was no guarantee of success. I was beginning a thousand miles journey taking one step at a time, knowing that with hard work, dedication, perseverance, faith and trusting in God and not giving up, I will get to the destination. The past five years have been an amazing journey. I am financially successful earning at least $200,000.00 annually as a real estate agent, own my house and live a lifestyle that is comfortable and stress free with a balance relationship with my close family and friends. I am thankful to the ones that helped me along the way. I feel humble and wake up every morning asking, “God what would you have me do this day”.

I am still working with the #1 top producing company in the valley and continue to serve my clients and new clients that come across my path. I am living a wonderful life volunteering and giving back and travelling twice a year. Oh I forgot, I am enjoying my grand kids when I choose to.
