It’s 6am and I just got done with an amazing yoga class, I can’t believe how good I’ve gotten, even though it was not the same as my daily routine in a heated swamp like room, I just couldn’t pass up a rooftop class in New York City. The view is exhilarating, being so high and feeling so small yet tall and empowered at the same time. It amazes me that even with the sound of the busy city and the taste of the stale air, I can still find silence and center my breath. My day is ready to start and I couldn’t feel more prepared to tackle whatever comes my way.
My flight back to Phoenix leaves in just a couple hours, it has been a busy week here in NYC getting our newest expansion team up and running. I can’t believe we are in 20 states across the country and five of the largest cities in the U.S. I am overwhelmed with joy and excitement. As Ashlie and I pack our bags, we give each other a look of satisfaction. With a slight smile and a nod, we know we are leaving our newest team members with everything they need to succeed.
As we wait to board the plane I get a phone call from the Title agency back home saying we have recorded, I can’t wait to call my new friend and tell her the good news. It’s her families first time buying a home and these are my favorite type of clients to work with. I’m happy to still be helping my closest friends and family members with their real estate needs. The referrals have been flowing in and my “sphere” has become more like a large bubble over the past 5 years and it has finally popped.
Once I get nestled into my seat the captain announces that we should have a smooth flight with no delays and wheels down on the runway in just about 4 hours and 37 minutes. I shoot my aunt a quick text letting her know we are taking off (per her request), it was great to see my family in New Jersey while I was here. I now must text my husband to let him know I am happily on my way and can’t wait to see him and the baby! I can’t believe he is almost 3 years old, I guess he isn’t much of a baby anymore, time really does fly and as we are about to, I tuck my phone away.
